About the Department

The Chemical Engg Department at AITH, Kanpur strives to impart a technical education with a fine balance in technical knowledge, Laboratory exposure and novel concepts related to research in various fields of Chemical Engg. The mission of the Chemical Engg Department is to focus quality education and achieve excellence, innovation and visibility in allied areas, while at the same time providing a friendly and supportive atmosphere that enables students to identify and pursue their personnel and professional goals within an innovative educational and technical program that is regress as well as flexible. Department has well developed infrastructure with proper laboratories which are well equipped along with departmental library. It has also acquired standard chemical process simulator as CHEM CAD, a pro simulator for design, simulation and control of various unit operation in the chemical industry in order to provide more quality education. In the Department, we have elite faculty members with excellent teaching abilities and a curriculum is as per AKTU norms, which not only provide informational knowledge but also create wisdom in the field of Chemical Engg
