Students
No Tuition Fees
for all students .Two sets of uniforms ( once in a year )
& a set of woolen blazer ( once in every 2 years ) are
provided totally free of cost to all students
. Stipend of Rs. 190/- per month is provided
to all students as financial aid .Special scholarship programs
are arranged for meritorious students .Late night library
facility.Computer Labs after college hours & 24 hours
internet facility is provided to students .
Degree
Students
Tuition fees for degree students will be same
as government institutes affiliated to U.P.T.U. Lucknow.Similar
facilities like Diploma students may become available for
degree students too.
Computer
Center
The computer center is equipped with state of art servers
and adequate client PCs. of latest configuration. All departments
and office of the Institute are connected with wide area network,
which is supported with a 2 mbps leased internet line.
Rules
for Library
AITH is proud to offer its students an extensive collection
of books and literary support in its central library. This
library is a place for research, reading, and reference help.
The institute has an excellent library with approx. 2000 books
on different subjects, general knowledge, science, computer,
encyclopedia, ancient & modern books of architecture,
catering the needs as per interest of the students to all
streams. Journals and magazines are also subscribed.
The institute provides free Orthopedic Appliances
and Rehabilitation aids ( Wheel - chair, Artificial Legs ,
Three wheeler paddling rickshaw , Calipers ) with the co -ordination
of Messers Alimco, Kanpur.Bus facility available for traveling/tour
purposes .Many sponsors provide sponsorship to meritorious
students .
Work
Shop
The workshop of the Institute
is a central facility which provides training to undergraduate
students and also assist the undergraduate, postgraduate and
research students in fabrication of their projects and experimental
setups. It also provides help to the maintenance section of
the Institute in its day to day working.
The set up of workshop is divided in seven shops namely Machine
Shop, Fitting Shop, Foundry Shop, Carpentry Shop, Black Smithy
Shop, Sheet Metal Shop and Welding Shop.
Hostel
-
The student who has been allotted a seat in the hostel
(Called Hosteller) will have to compulsorily live in the
hostel.
-
Hosteller will compulsorily sign the attendance register
at 09:00 PM daily. Prior permission will be compulsory
for absentees and for those who shall be out after 09:00
PM due to some important work.
-
Special attention will be required toward cleanliness
in the hostel and it will be compulsory to use dust bin
for throwing any garbittch/fruit peels, etc.

Nobody will unnecessary be either present in the hostel
canteen nor will make a crowd by standing outside the
canteen.

Students will neither visit the girls hostel nor will
roam near by. Girls will also neither go to the boys hostels
at any time nor walk through after evening meals.

It is banned to organize birthday or any other crowdy
function and to play music System/Radio loudly in the
room.

Student will have to arrange the lighting systems(like
Bulbs, tube lights)them selves in their room. Institute
will arrange lighting system in common places. General
fine will be imposed on removal of bulbs/tube lights from
corridors and bath rooms, etc.

Water taps, flash system and other similar facilities
in the bath rooms and toilets of the hostels will be operated
carefully and maintained by the students themselves
-
Students themselves will be responsible for the maintenance
of the furniture provided by the institute, and punishment
and fine will be imposed on braking the furniture intentionally.

. Two daily newspapers are subscribe in the hostel, it
is expected that those are kept in tact with responsibility.

It is completely prohibited to smoke, use liquor, etc.
If found, severe disciplinary action will be taken.

No body will use heater or cook food in the room. It
found, punishment will be imposed.
EXTRA RULES FOR GIRLS HOSTELS
-
Girls may go out of campus from 5 to 6 PM in the evening
during winters and 5 to 7 PM during summers for any important
work. Disciplinary action will be taken against those
girls who come back after the aforesaid timings.

Parents/Guardians of girls may visit on Saturdays and
Sundays in the common room of the girls hostels. There
is no provision of staying back of male guardians.
-
Girls are not permitted to go home without the company
of parents/guardians.
Mess
-
It is compulsory to take food by all the hostellers
regularly in the mess. The students will neither stay
in the hostel nor take in the mess on at least one full
the off. Students will be treated as absent from the hostel
for this period. This period can be of maximum 5 days
in a month.

If any hosteller takes leave from the hostel or mess,
he/she has to compulsorily inform one day in advanced
other wise it will be presumed that he/she has taken food
in the mess. It is compulsory to inform in writing the
hostel attendant and mess manager about taking leave from
the hostel and Mess.

Mess bill has to be paid by the 5th of every month.
If the payment will not done, his/her food will be stopped
and it is likely that he/she might have to pay a late
fee.
-
No body will get Tiffin from out side.

Special attention will be required for the timings of
break fast and meals. It will be compulsory to take morning
breakfast between 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM and lunch between
12:30 PM to 2:30 PM.

Mess diet will be of full day which include break fast,
lunch, dinner. Absence from diet means full day’s absence.
-
Guests of students can stay for one day only after obtaining
the prior permission .Disciplinary action will be taken
if the permission is not obtained. It is necessary that
the details are provided to the guards at the main gate.

There will be provision of guest diet also in the mess.
The item wise payment of the same will have to be done
by the concerned student.
-
Full co-operation in mess management and its smooth
running is highly expected.
